The producers wondered if she was able to do sword fighting in the following day, so she sent a video of fighting with swords. Jessica read the script and realized that the character would require weapon training. The first time she recorded her lesson with a professional following studying the script. Jonathan Glassner claims that the stunt team was astonished at her performance in their first class. Jessica had never been in an important role prior to the US, as all of her filmography was in Australia.
